Reiki is a Japanese technique that channels universal life force energy to promote balance and well-being. This technique usually includes a gentle, hands-on approach to direct the energy where it is to go.
During your session, the practitioner will place her hands above your body, allowing energy to flow where it is most needed.
This non-invasive approach supports your body’s natural ability to heal itself, while helping release stress, tension, and emotional blocks.

Can Reiki Be Done Without Touching Me?
Reiki is all energy work. Touch is not necessary for Reiki to be effective. Ruth prefers to offer non-touch Reiki in the in-person sessions for the comfort of all clients.
Is Distance Reiki Available?
Absolutely! Energy is energy. Reiki does well as distance therapy as well.
Do You Have a Cancellation/Refund Policy?
We know life is unpredictable and that things pop up, but …
All one-on-one appointments must be rescheduled no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment with no penalty. Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will be refunded the amount of the scheduled session minus 15% administration fee.
Appointments cancelled between 12 and 24 hours prior to the appointment will be refunded the amount of the scheduled session minus 50%. Appointments cancelled less than 12 hours notice of the appointment and No Shows are not entitled to a refund.

REIKI/ENERGY WORK: What To Expect
REIKI & ENERGY WORK Session Flow
When you first arrive, you will be offered your choice of herbal tea or water. As you sip, we will have a short conversation to understand your goals, preferences, intentions, and any sensitivities.
From there, if you wish, you will be introduced to our “Crystal Lounge”, where you will choose the crystals that resonate with you that you will work during the session.
Like Aromatherapy, Reiki and Energy Work and crystals are subjective. Some people love amethyst, others cringe at purple. We work with whatever works for you.
Whether you are new to crystals and/or energy work or have worked with them for a long time, the “Lounge” will allow you to choose the crystals you need at that time. Our experienced Energy worker will guide you as needed.
Once you have chosen your crystals, your session will begin. You will lie on a table and be made comfortable. The crystals you chose will be placed specifically on or near your chakra centres and Reiki and/or crystal light therapy will begin.
If you choose not to work with crystals, the decision will be honoured. The choice is always yours. Reiki on its own will be just as effective, but people who have worked with crystals describe “something extra”.
During Reiki (with or without crystals), as described previously, the practitioner will place their hands above your auric field so as not to invade your personal space and will channel energy where it is needed.
During Crystal Light Therapy (with crystals), the practitioner will channel energy through a device with crystals in it. Again, your auric field will not be interrupted.
REIKI and CRYSTAL LIGHT THERAPY are Energy Work.
At the end of the session, you will be offered either herbal tea or water to ease you back into the world. And you will be sent home with a crystal, if you wish. (Included in the price.)
It is recommended that you make another appointment six to eight weeks later (or sooner, if you wish) for a follow-up.
Duration and Price of a Reiki/Energy Session
A REIKI Session (with or without crystals) typically will take 45 to 60 minutes.
$111 per session up to 60 minutes and $142 between 60 and 90 minutes.
A CRYSTAL LIGHT Session (with crystals) typically will take 45 to 60 minutes.
$111 per session up to 60 minutes and $142 between 60 and 90 minutes.
A REIKI With CRYSTAL LIGHT and crystals Session typically will take 60 to 90 minutes.
INITIAL SESSION $167 up to 90 minutes; FOLLOWING SESSIONS: $150 up to 90 minutes.
This includes time for our initial consultation, your discovery, and the session.

Who is REIKI/ENERGY WORK For?
Energy Work is suitable for all ages and can be beneficial alongside medical or holistic treatments.
Energy Work is especially helpful for those seeking stress relief, emotional release, spiritual connection, or gentle support during recovery, particularly those who are sensitive and/or protective of their personal space.
Energy Work is also a wonderful complement to other holistic or medical treatments.

REIKI/ENERGY WORK Aftercare
To make the most of your aromatherapy session:

Drink plenty of water afterwards to help your body process and integrate.

Allow yourself time to rest if you feel tired or emotional after the session — this is a normal part of release.

Pay attention to your dreams or insights in the days following; Reiki/Crystsal Light/Energy Work often works on subtle levels beyond the session.
